关于期刊

《中国宗教研究》（Studies in Chinese Religions）是由中国社会科学院世界宗教研究所主办、由Routledge (Taylor & Francis Group)出版的国际同行评审英文学术期刊。本刊专注于中国宗教学术研究，并致力于推介具有跨学科、多源文献、跨文化视野的高质量原创研究成果。本刊在海内外学界享有良好的声誉，目前已经进入ESCI、Scopus双核心检索，并被ATLA、BAS数据库完整收录。  

征稿范围

本刊探讨的宗教传统涵盖：佛教、道教、儒学、中国伊斯兰教、天主教、基督新教、中国民间信仰（民间宗教）及少数民族宗教传统。  

本刊积极倡导多学科交叉视角，热忱欢迎来自以下领域的学者投稿：宗教学、哲学、历史学、文献学、人类学、图像学、社会学等。  

稿件类型与规范

• 研究论文（Research Articles）：论证严密、具有原创性观点的学术长文。 

• 书评（Book Reviews）：对近期出版的中国宗教相关重要学术著作的原创性深度述评。 

• 语言：英文。 

• 格式规范：请参考Chicago Manual of Style（芝加哥格式/脚注附参考文献体系），汉字拼音采用标准汉语拼音系统。 

• 字数要求：全文通常不超过15000词（含摘要、图表、参考文献、脚尾注等），对于特别优秀的稿件，将适当放宽字数要求。 

• 同行评议：本刊严格执行双向匿名同行评审机制。提交的匿名稿件中请隐去所有作者身份信息。

About the Journal

Studies in Chinese Religions (SCR) is an international, peer-reviewed journal hosted by the Institute of World Religions at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and published by Routledge (Taylor & Francis Group). The journal is committed to advancing the scholarly study of Chinese religions by showcasing high-impact, original research grounded in rigorous philological inquiry, interdisciplinary frameworks, and cross-cultural perspectives.  SCR enjoys a distinguished international reputation and is currently indexed in ESCI (Web of Science), Scopus, ATLA Religion Database, and the Bibliography of Asian Studies (BAS).  

Aims & Scope

The journal welcomes scholarship across the full spectrum of Chinese religious traditions, including: Buddhism, Daoism, Confucianism, Islam/Catholicism/Protestantism in China, Chinese popular/folk religions, and ethnic minority religious traditions.  

We actively promote interdisciplinary dialogues and invite contributions from diverse disciplines, including: Religious Studies, Philosophy, History, Philology, Anthropology, Art History & Visual Culture, and Sociology.  

Manuscript Types & Guidelines

• Research Articles: Substantive, original scholarly contributions presenting rigorous critical analysis and innovative insights. 

• Book Reviews: Critical, insightful reviews of recently published, significant monographs in the field. 

• Language: English. 

• Style & Citations: Manuscripts must adhere to the Chicago Manual of Style (Notes and Bibliography system). Chinese terms and names should follow standard Hanyu Pinyin romanization (with corresponding Chinese characters provided upon first mention).   

• Word Count: Manuscripts should typically not exceed 15,000 words, inclusive of abstract, footnotes, references, tables, and figures. Exceptions may be considered for submissions of exceptional academic significance. 

• Peer Review: The journal operates a strict double-blind peer review process. Please ensure that all author-identifying details are fully omitted from the blinded manuscript file.

3.(Optional) Author’s CV or relevant supplementary research materials.
